The works of Micky Hoogendijk, Gabriel Schmitz and Richard Wearn will delve into the individual's search for meaning and purpose in an often confusing and chaotic world. This theme invites us to reflect on our existence, choices, roles and footprints we leave in our existence. The films highlight the beauty of different perspectives, experiences, and expressions of identity.
The environment is a pressing issue in today's world, as we grapple with the consequences of climate change and environmental degradation. Bibi Smit, Virginia Bradley, Rachael Mellors, Concept 2048 and Klaus Littmann shed light on the beauty of nature, the importance of conservation, and how it is the centre and motor of their artistic journey and craftsmanship. By exploring the environmental theme, we are reminded of our interconnectedness with the natural world and the impact of our choices on the Earth's delicate balance.

A selection of short films by the New Media Festival will present the fascinating intersection of humanity and technology as the complexities of artificial intelligence unravel. From examining its impact on society to envisioning a future shaped by AI, the curated films will spark conversations on the evolution of innovation.
Ultimately, the Rochester Institute of Technology, College of Art and Design will explore the themes of race, gender, colonialism, and class through the works of Shanti Thakur, Vashti Anderson, and Christine A. Banna. By challenging traditional norms, these artists delve into personal narratives and universal experiences, giving the audience a unique perspective on the exploration of identity, history, and societal structures.
