UNITY Artist Talk with Gill Gatfield | Palazzo Bembo

New Zealand sculptor Gill Gatfield presents two artist talks on UNITY, from ancient worlds to the metaverse, a philosophy and practice explored in two sculptures - the precious miniature Harmony at Palazzo Bembo, and the digital monument Native Tongue XR showcased at Marinaressa Gardens.

The ideas and artworks in UNITY will be activated in physical space and through the metaverse in two artist talks and public discussions hosted by European Cultural Centre at two venues:

Wednesday 14th September | from 17:00

Harmony at Palazzo Bembo

Thursday 15th September | from 17:00

Native Tongue XR at Marinaressa Gardens – Levante

Artist presentations at each event will focus on the particular site-specific work in that location, and the artwork’s place in the collective project of UNITY. A micro-catalogue to be launched at the events is designed by the artist to reflect the UNITY methodologies – miniature and metaverse, and includes excerpts from an upcoming review by Roxane Latrèche, accessed via QR code.

To join the events please, RSVP to press@ecc-italy.eu.
