Korean Art in The Digital Era

Introducing South Korea's contemporary and unique cultural identity through Korean media artists

Noonssup & ECC: Korean Art in The Digital Era introduces South Korea’s contemporary and unique cultural identity through Korean media artists: Ga Ram Kim, Bongsu Park, Daniel Schine Lee and Gihun Noh. South Korea has led the fusion of digital technology and popular culture through innovative technologies and media platforms such as high-speed internet, smartphones, digital games and social media. The evolution of these technologies has propelled the global success of Korean Wave content such as K-pop with cutting-edge technologies, social media, AI and the metaverse significantly impacting arts and culture.
