Echo Holdings x Angelus Novus, a corrupted lecture performance by Isaac Sullivan, is a contemporary gloss on Walter Benjamin’s “angel of history” in contemplation of the body’s mediation within digital networks. Blurring the distinction between live and recorded speech across an unlikely constellation of remixes and samples, it is adapted from his 2023 performance at Reference Point, London.
