The European Cultural Centre at Fiebre Photobook Fest
The European Cultural Centre launches the first-ever collaboration with Fiebre Photobook, a Spanish photobook fair and festival. A reference in this field, Fiebre brings together small and large publishers, self-publishers, collectives, zine creators, magazines, distributors and specialised stores to share their new publications, exchange feedback and further boost the photobook market.

Fiebre Photobook Fest
In line with this new collaboration, the ECC had the pleasure to host Fiebre’s BookJockey session at Palazzo Michiel during the opening of the art exhibition Personal Structures in April 2022.
The ECC is proud to partake in the 10th edition of the Fiebre Photobook Festival, from the 23rd to the 25th of September, taking place at the Galería de Cristal de CentroCentro of Madrid, Spain. We will be showcasing books of collaborating photographers together with the recent publication N-D Narrative Dimension by ECC and Urbanautica Institute created for the last edition of the Time Space Existence architecture biennial exhibition in 2021.
The publication is a limited-edition photobook of 300 copies created in partnership with World Architects and with the special participation of professor Angelo Maggi from IUAV University of Venice.

Fiebre Photobook Fest
Since 2016, we have been fully dedicated to the promotion of the photography media through a broad range of cultural activities. For the sixth edition of the Personal Structures exhibition, we aim to highlight the medium of photobooks, conceived not only as the widest means for broadcasting photography but also as a precious and concrete art object.
The books that will be showcased in Madrid are the result of a selection of photographers we have had the pleasure to host during these seven years of activity in Venice.
The photographers represented on the occasion of Fiebre Photobook in Madrid are:
Petra Barth, Paul Brouns, Sandra Cattaneo Adorno, Anja de Jong, Elizabeth Heyert, Michel Kirch, Nic Lehoux, Mizuho Nishioka, Reka Nyari, Rainer Sioda, Peter C. Stitt, Hisako Sakurai, and Yoshiaki Suito.
