Vanesa Wallet Hardi


Vanesa Wallet Hardi is an artist who lives, works, exhibits and is “at home” in several countries in Europe. Born in ExYugoslavia, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Austria and Slovakia, lived for a long time in the Czech Republic and now lives and works in France for many years. She had many group and solo exhibitions in Germany, Italy, France, Slovakia, Czech Republic, USA, Serbia, Croatia and Austria. In 2000 she became the “young artist of the year” in Slovakia, in 1999 she received an award for her diploma work from the Ministry of Science in Vienna and participated in many artist residencies. She named her paintings/objects “colorboxes” and creates some kind of color codes out of them and creates spatial installations according to the given space.
