Sarah Gold

After a decade of curating exhibitions and publishing art projects in cooperation with artists such as Yoko Ono and Lawrence Weiner, Sarah Gold swapped sides. Driven by the question of why sex is such a taboo, she creates very personal work by depicting intimate encounters of the artist often accompanied by text. Her work challenges the notion that a nipple on Instagram is unthinkable, whilst mutilation in the name of superficial values for example, is considered normal.
