Rodrigo De la Sierra lives and works in Mexico City where he was born in 1971. After working as an architect for 12 years, in pursuit of becoming an artist, De la Sierra studied Plastic Arts, focusing on figurative sculpture. Today, after an Honorary Doctorate and numerous exhibitions,he is among Mexico´s most renowned Contemporary artists. This, thanks to his playful character Timoteo, through whose likeness of being, has achieved to subtly deliver a dose of criticism towards today´s society.
