Richard Wearn

From Aotearoa/New Zealand, Richard Wearn has lived in the United States since 1993, currently in Los Angeles, and also Amsterdam. He has exhibited at international art spaces: Chinati / Judd Foundation, Cincinnati CAC, Headlands, National Center for the Arts, Mexico City; Hillary Crisp Gallery London; Amsterdam CAC, Lett Auckland, Art Formosa, Art Taipei, Shanghai Art Fair, Art Miami, LA Art Fair and Server Art Beijing, 2025 Richard is engaged in art writing and curatorial projects that intersect with commercial, and ‘public good’ institutional sectors of Art. He has received grants from the Chinati Foundation, CreativeNZ, Headlands, NZ Government, US State Dept, Sir Henry Moore Institute, and Server Art, Beijing. Richard teaches at CSULA and holds a BFA, (Auckland) and an MFA (USC.)
