ADJ Style – production partner

KOD.objects is a design laboratory that studies Russian domestic objects, architecture, and visual culture as systems of form and meaning.

We research early Russian architecture, traditional household objects, spatial organization, ornamental structures, and material principles. Our focus is not on surface appearance, but on underlying logic — how forms emerged, what functions they served, and which cultural rules they embodied.

We do not replicate historical objects or reproduce ornaments literally. Instead, we analyze and transform them into a contemporary design language expressed through furniture, lighting, and interior objects. New forms and new ornamental systems are developed based on historical principles.

Our approach is rooted in research and transformation rather than stylistic quotation.

We aim to create contemporary design that preserves the cultural code of Russia while remaining relevant within an international context.
