Michael Rich explores the irascible beauty of the landscape through an approach to painting that is visceral, physical and colorful. Often working in large scale, his paintings explore the nature as a means of spiritual investigation through the language of contemporary abstraction. His work has been featured in museum exhibitions and numerous public and private collections. Michael Rich lives and works in Rhode Island, USA and is a Professor of Visual Arts at Roger Williams University.
