Marc Abele can rightly be described as a pictorial note-taker, as his works arise out of the characteristic style in which the creative act takes form. Abele’s pictures are based on various thematic concepts to which he responds pictorially. The most elementary of his leading thematic concepts, the absolute foundation stone of his creative process in general, is the word „Note“.
