Manuel Bonfanti, born in 1974, lives and works in Bergamo, Italy. The artist researches the relations of the Sublime between space and light, the atmosphere and music spaces; he often works with big canvases in which colors create mystical flavored environments to resemble the Zen scenery. What amuses him is placing himself in front of the invisible and the environments of spiritual places on the border of abstraction with an animistic flavor. He’s participated in many public and private collections and is sometimes a curator of group exhibitions.
