Man Fung-yi

Man Fung-Yi (born 1968) hails from Hong Kong’s contemporary art scene, specializing in sculpture and ink installation. Her “Cheongsam” sculpture series was exhibited at Louis Vuitton in three cities. She obtained her MA in Fine Arts and then in Taoism at CUHK. She participated in exhibitions in the UK, the USA, France, Spain, Mainland China and HK. Her public art works on view include locations such as HK International Airport and HK Metro station. Man was awarded HK Women of Excellence in the Six Arts Award, Critic Award of “Century • Women Art Exhibition”; and Freeman Foundation Fellowship for Asian Artists, US. Her works are collected by prestigious museums and institutions across London, Cambridge, Hong Kong, Jiangsu, Ishikawa and Shanghai, such as V&A Museum, UK and M+, HK.
