Lubomir Typlt is a figurative painter from the Czech Republic. His unconventional paintings showing absurd, surreal scenes of groups of people or individuals seem to be like sharp wood crisps, like shavings of the unconscious that everyone carries buried inside them. The drama inherent to his motifs is reinforced by the use and combination of strong, luminous colours that are often at the maximum possible contrast.
