Laurette Succar is lebanese-born painter, visual artist, writer and editor of artists books. She lives and works in her studio in Paris, France. For twenty years, she has been developing research around materials loaded with meaning and stories. Her artistic work questions the flaw, forgetting and conditions of a possible transmission. It is an invitation to create a dialogue between poetic breath and pictorial flesh. Laurette Succar’s artworks are part of several private and public collections.
