Kristaps Zariņš’s painting always addresses the viewer with a form based on realism – a figure, body curves, turn of the head and facial expression, richness of colours and artistic provocation. He’s a painter and the current Rector of the Art Academy of Latvia. The artist has organized more than 20 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows all over the world.
