Klaus Littmann

Klaus Littmann (born in 1951) studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy where Joseph Beuys was one of his teachers. He gained a name for himself as an artist, curator and producer of contemporary art. His work is based on his engagement with everyday culture and the confrontation between contemporary art and long established urban spaces. Each of his complex projects reflects then tension arising from how he as an artist proactively addresses everyday culture and the interaction with urban spaces.
