John Ruppert

Ruppert’s artistic practice is inspired by the landscape, the processes that have formed it, and humanity’s relationship to it. His work reveals both nature’s destiny and ongoing pattern of change, as well as human interference on a global scale. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and sculpture parks both nationally and internationally. Among the venues are Omi International Sculpture Park, Miami Sculpture Biennale, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and Kreeger Museum. His work was also included in a major sculpture exhibition that traveled to eight museums across the US. He represented the United States at the inaugural exhibition at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (KUMU) in Estonia, and has had work included in exhibitions in China, Latvia, Finland, and Poland.
