Daniel Pešta is a Czech multimedia artist and painter who has presented many projects on the global stage. His art is influenced by social, political and ecological themes, reflecting on the vulnerability of the individual and the complexity of the inner self. The subject matter of the works touches the very core of human existence and the individual’s role in a global society and it often has a social or political sub-text stressing the risks of the abuse of power.
