Bonita Ely is a multi-disciplinary artist located in Sydney after living in London and New York in the 1970s. Supported by residencies and commissions, plus an academic career teaching sculpture, performance and installation, she is often assisted by emergent artists and professional technicians. She is an inspiring mentor. Designed by the artist, her studio is a light filled, environmentally sustainable, peaceful hub of experimentation, research, creativity, action and imagination.
