Bethany Springer is an Associate Professor in Sculpture + Experimental Media at the University of Arkansas. Her background is based in both traditional sculptural processes and non-traditional including modern dance, performance, and label-defying idea-based strategies. She is a recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, Individual Fellowships from the Arkansas and Iowa Arts Councils, and a UA Community Research Grant. Springer’s work has showcased in the US, Canada, Italy, and Svalbard.
