Alexandrou and Von Edler are collaborators based out of New England, USA. Von Edler, an oil painter and Alexandrou, a botanical installation artist, combine aspects of their individual mediums to form a synthesis of feminist theory and ecological awareness. Organic forms, textile and the color gold are a mainstay of their collaborative works. Conceptually, one will find themes of globalization, plant science, the feminine and future traditional ideology within their site-specific installations.
