Ania Trojanowska Hobson
Ania’s work is a timeline of human emotion and situations, a form of expressing language and her own anxieties. Her characters enable the figures to become less anatomically correct, more expressive and abstract, with exaggerated expressions and features creating a connection. Basic psychology and communication run throughout her paintings. Ania’s sketches are worked straight onto canvas before painting. She works to a medium / large scale with oil paints and impasto.
