The Earth Breathes is a musical dialogue between the flute and Murielle Argoud’s painting The Breath of Genesis. The programme brings together music from different periods and musical traditions, performed by Myriam Hidber Dickinson – MISS FLUTE, exploring themes of nature, breath, memory, human experience and light. Poetry in English and Italian is woven into the musical journey. The concert culminates in a free improvisation inspired directly by the painting, creating a moment in which music and visual art meet spontaneously. The journey comes to a quiet and contemplative close — returning to breath, stillness and the intimate connection between music, nature and the human soul.
