“The Coexistence of Colour and Sound: A Creative Symbiosis” unveiled

Ernestine Faux offers at Palazzo Mora an experience that transcends the ordinary and taps into the extraordinary

Her artworks CHROMATICS-cadmium red, CHROMATICS-yellow and the Colour of Sound Intersection: A Creative Symbiosis, present a unique combination that promises to bridge the gap between sight and sound, offering visitors an immersive experience that melds contemporary art with ancient wisdom. The event’s highlight is a 15-minute live sound performance where Faux uses crystal quartz instruments, crafted from recycled silicon originally intended for the computer industry. These instruments, carefully aligned with the colours of her paintings, emit pure frequencies that extend up to 80,000 Hertz, far beyond the human hearing range, but very much within our body’s experience.

As visitors lie on prepared mats, they are enveloped by these sound vibrations, experiencing a connection between their mental and emotional faculties—an echo of ancient healing practices revived in a contemporary setting. As you explore The Coexistence of Colour and Sound: A Creative Symbiosis, prepare to be transported into a sacred space where art and science converge, and where the sound of colour becomes a transformative force for the mind, body, and soul.
