Isn’t Truth The Foundation of Freedom? Through Her Photography and Self-Portraits, Sophie Muret will explain her personal story and how she frees herself. When Sophie Muret began to shoot this group of images, She followed her instinct. A certain light inspired Her to make self-portraits. A bright natural light coming from outside invited the Woman to reveal the inner light. Is our own deepest light a reflection of the external light? These images have been realized without searching for any meaning. Today these photographs take their place and to each individual viewer, either make sense or no sense. Accepting the whole being, as by nature, The depth of the soul, Perfection lies in its imperfection, Our body, our temple, And our present emotion. Finally, in front of this mirror, do these images reflect yourself? Your deepest and purest self, an unadulterated face-to-face.
