In 2017, Barbara Polla created the Association Sharing Perama, to bring art, culture and ecology to Perama, a neglected and fascinating suburb of Athens, Greece. Five years later, Sharing Perama is invited by the European Cultural Centre to Personal Structures in Venice.

During the conference Sharing Culture, Barbara Polla will highlight how it is possible to bring a cultural association to life, which are the major difficulties, the rewards and the “Forever dreams”. She will also mention other similar projects in Europe, to show how the “cultural guerilla” of various actors ends up creating a strong social network. Your own experience in creating and/or managing cultural and social associations will be of outmost interest; indeed, a consistent discussion time will be allowed for exchanges.
