Press conference: “In The Middle of Now-Where” by Manuel Bonfanti

Join the press conference unveiling In The Middle of Now-Where, a captivating work by artist Manuel Bonfanti.

To celebrate his participation in Personal Structures – Beyond Boundaries, Bonfanti will discuss his work currently on display at Palazzo Mora. The conversation will feature Lucia Pedrana, Head of University Relations at ECC Italy; Giuseppe Taramelli, founder of Aedificante Onlus; Giovanni Valagussa, Art Historian; Francesco Pedrini, Deputy Director at Politecnico delle Arti Accademia Carrara; Oscar Fusini, Director of Confcommercio Bergamo; Tiziana Molinari, Director of Confcommercio Venezia e Terraferma; and Roberto Panciera, president Confcommercio Venezia.

The 20-square-meter mixed media canvas is a vivid expression of the desire to transcend boundaries, reaching towards the spiritual reconstruction of the self. Amidst layers of transparency and texture, the artwork is painted in a deep, oceanic blue-scraped, repainted, and reworked to create a space for the soul’s enlightenment. The abstract painting represents an imposing structure of the soul, captivating viewers as it occupies an entire wall of Palazzo Mora. With its elegant form and substance, In The Middle of Now-Where seeks to elevate, symbolically reborn from the void.

This project is the third major initiative supported by Aedificante Onlus, a cultural organisation founded by Bergamo-based entrepreneur Giuseppe Taramelli and his wife Stefania Gambirasio, dedicated to exploring the human values of creation and construction.
