This performance is part of a series of five events in which invited dancers join visual artist Gabriel Schmitz for a shared moment of Dance & Drawing. In each performance, the dancer is free to improvise while the artist pushes the concept of life drawing to the limit in an attempt to capture the dancer moving. Both share the same space defined by a large white paper which as the performance evolves slowly fills with charcoal marks. These in turn invade the dancer's space and an unpredictable dialogue ensues. A one-off chance for the audience to witness a free-falling artistic process.
