Elements of Being

Celebrate the debut of  "Elements of Being" as we gather visitors to engage with art in a profoundly immersive and thought-provoking manner, encouraging reflection on humanity's relationship with the natural world and the urgent need for environmental stewardship.

An introductory Spoken Word Performance by Arsimmer McCoy with sounds from Elements of Being (https://www.airie.org/elementsofbeing) will help preface the raison d’etre at this year’s Personal Structures exhibit composed of recordings from the Everglades, expertly interwoven with Diana Wege’s piece, Earth Requiem.

Arsimmer McCoy’s poignant spoken word performance adds depth and emotion to the experience, transporting audiences into a world where nature’s voice resonates with human expression.

Artistic Director, Cornelius Tulloch will close out the performance by parting guests with questions we should ask ourselves “What does advancement for some mean if those at the fringes of society and environment are not included?” That help guests understand their element of being.

The performance is part of the Opening event in Palazzo Bembo, by invitation only.
